My Dearest Readers,

When I was a little girl, a broken and sometimes terrified child who lived in a home often filled with desperate fear and pain, I found Jesus, or rather, He found me, and He literally saved my life.

That was many, long years ago. Those dark days are past, and thankfully, “weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning” has become a truth and reality in my life. He has healed those wounds, taken away the pain, and blessed me with, of all things, a passion and love for the dogs, who have become my life’s work.

The quite beautiful result of all that turmoil and pain has distilled into the other joy of my life, telling everyone I possibly can about Jesus and His love for you. Through sharing the wonderful puppies and the dogs that have captured my heart, I have been able to share my story and, most importantly, tell of God’s goodness and how only He can take our broken lives and give us peace.

I spoke with a lady yesterday about the puppy she was coming to pick up from Foxglove Farm. As we discussed her puppy and his schedule and routine, the conversation took a sudden turn and drifted into her fears and anxiety about the current world situation. I could tell that she was longing for peace and my heart went out to this dear woman who was looking everywhere for answers.

As I sent a quick prayer heavenward for wisdom. I began to share with her the answer I had found so many years ago that the only true peace comes from God, that peace which underlies every moment of our lives with the sure knowledge that ultimately, He is in control and when surrendered to Him, He'll take even the most difficult times of our lives and bring good out of them.

The wonderful news is that He loves you. No matter where you are or what you’ve done, His heart longs for you and wants to rescue you and fill the empty place in your heart as only He can.

What an unlikely place for you to find Jesus, and I pray that is precisely what happens here, now, today, for you. You came here, dear reader, perhaps looking for puppy stories, but I cannot, not share Him because He changed my life forever ❤️
